K760 Petrol cut-off sawReally clever petrol cut-off saw

Kelsey Plant have added the Husqvarna K760 petrol cut-off saw to our smaller equipment hire range.

This powerful little two-stroke saw takes 12″ (300mm) cutting blades and is ideal for all concrete and stone cutting, pavers, curbstones and asphalt.

Kelsey Plant Hire chose to invest in this particular petrol cut-off saw because we know it will provide you with all the power and reliability you demand. The Husqvarna K760 is equipped with one of the market’s most efficient centrifugal air cleaning systems, preserving the engine and reducing downtime. Built-in automatic filter compensation and it’s unique engine technology increases and maintains high power and lowers fuel consumption by up to 20% with up to 75% reduction in exhaust emissions. A dust-sealed starter, that seals the return spring and pulley bearing, further boosts the reliability of this hire machine.

An all too common mistake made when refuelling petrol cut-off saws is to fill them with neat petrol or the wrong petrol / two-stroke mix. This easy error leads to downtime and expensive repair / replacement bills for the hirer. Kelsey Plant Hire’s petrol cut-off saws have intelligent fuel sensors. If filled with the wrong fuel mix these clever saws will only allow you to start them up but will not allow you to rev them thus saving the engine from seizure. Brilliant!

We can supply you with all the necessary consumables you need for use with these essential little saws such as blades, two-stroke oil, 5 litre fuel cans and PPE (personal protection equipment). So, when you want to hire a reliable petrol cut-off saw please give Kelsey Plant Hire a call on 01403 249125 and we will be happy to help you.

The National Construction College working with the training division of CITB Construction Skills have launched some short-duration plant operator courses aimed at those with some plant operating experience but no formal qualifications.

Two day courses (including tests) are available for forward tipping dumpers, skidsteer loaders, wheeled loading shovels and articulated dump trucks.

Three day courses (including tests) are available for telescopic handlers, 360 excavators and 180 digger loaders.

The aim of these short courses is to ensure that operators gain an industry recognised qualification such as the CPCS card and health and safety awareness.

Other major benefits of the courses are that they are cheaper and the short duration means less time off site. In many cases they will be supported by grants.
